Chocolate Fondant cake

Chocolate fondant is like dark chocolate conveyed through the medium of heat and creaminess. Cold vanilla ice cream with hot fondant is a classic combination that’s hard to beat, but other flavors of ice cream work well too.

How to Make a Chocolate Fondant cake

SERVES 8

Ingredients

250 g Dark chocolate compound

125 g unsalted butter 

5 Eggs

100 g refined flour

80 g caster sugar

20 g unsalted butter for greasing the baking  bowls

Procedure

STEP 1

Grease the baking bowls with butter then dust them with flour. Take dark chocolate compound and butter in a mixing bowl and melt it on the double boiler.

STEP 2

In another bowl,  break the eggs add refined flour and sugar, and mix them together. whisk it properly so no lumps are left. Now mix both mixtures in a bowl and pour them equally into the prepared bowls.

STEP 3

Bake them for 10 min in a preheated oven at temp. of  200 degrees C. When the cake leaves the sides of the bowl it means it is ready. Flip it on a  plate and serve it hot. You can also serve it with vanilla ice cream.
