Chilli Paneer

Chili Paneer is one of the most popular recipes in indo- Chinese cuisine. There are many ways to prepare it. You can prepare it dry, semi-dry, or in the sauce. Chili paneer is a popular Indo-Chinese dish. The chili paneer is a spicy and tangy starter. especially for a lot of my friends who like spicy food. Chili paneer can also be served as a side dish. It's totally delicious and easy to make.

How to make Chilli Paneer

 Serves 2

Ingredients

300 grams Paneer
2 tbsp  oil
50grams Cornstarch
1 medium Onion
5 cloves Garlic(chopped)
4 green chilies
1 large capsicum
200ml veg. stock
salt to taste
2tbsp soy sauce
60ml tomato ketchup
spring onion for garnish

Procedures

STEP 1

Cut paneer into cubes or diamond-shaped whatever you like, coat paneer with half of the cornstarch, and deep fry on medium heat until it starts to turn brown. Drain it.

STEP 2

Cut onion into 4 pieces and take out petals from it. cut capsicum into large dice and slice the green chillies.

STEP 3

Heat oil in a wok, add garlic and stir it. Now add onion, capsicum, sliced green chillies, and keep tossing it for few minutes.

STEP 4

Now stir in veg. stock and add salt, soy sauce, ketchup and mix it well. Now make a slurry of remaining cornstarch and add it to the sauce and stir it properly, let it boil.

STEP 5

Add fried paneer and toss it well. Once it's properly heated, serve it with the garnish of spring onion.
